Meet Nicole Powers, the owner and medical director of Allure Aesthetics + Wellness in Maquoketa, Iowa. She is an experienced, board-certified Nurse Practitioner who has been in healthcare for over 15 years with a background ranging from cardiology to critical care to pain management to aesthetics.

 

She is a graduate of Saint Louis University with her BSN in 2008 and later her Masters of Science in Nursing as an Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner in 2014.

 

She grew up in Dubuque, Iowa, moved back in 2018 and continues to live there today.She is deeply committed to evidence-based medicine, but what truly fuels her passion is the transformation that occurs inside and out. It’s about helping people feel empowered, refreshed, and aligned with the best version of themselves. When we feel good, it radiates into every aspect of our lives.

 

Whether it’s through restoring balance with injectables, supporting healthy weight loss, or boosting vitality with IV therapy, she loves being part of each individual’s unique journey.​

 

She is married and a mom to three kids. When she is not taking care of patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling and cooking.​

Meet Madison "Madi" Knockel, a Licensed Esthetician at Allure Aesthetics + Wellness in Maquoketa, Iowa.

Madi grew up on a hobby farm in southern Wisconsin. She graduated from UW-Platteville with a Bachelor's in Social Science in 2020 and then attended Capri College in Dubuque for esthetician training.

 

Madi brings 3.5 years of aesthetics experience to  Allure Aesthetics + Wellness, and it shows in the care she takes with every client who sits in her chair. What she loves most about esthetics is that no two patients, or days, are ever quite the same.

 

Each person walks in with their own skin, story, and goals, and Madi takes the time to understand all three. Known for her approachable, non-judgmental style, Madi creates a space where patients feel comfortable being exactly who they are. She finds genuine joy in the little moments, the interactions with happy clients, the confidence boost after a treatment, the chance to help someone feel beautiful in their own skin.

Kassy is a Registered Nurse from Dubuque, Iowa with 11 years of experience in emergency medicine. After graduating from NICC,she spent years developing a strong foundation in patient care, clnicial assessment, and building trust with her patients. 

​

Since 2021, Kassy has focused her career on aesthetics and plastic surgery. Her background in emergency medicine, combined with her specialized experience in aesthetics, gives her a unique perspective when it comes to patient safety, facial anatomy, and creating beautiful, natural-looking results. She believes aesthetic treatments should enhance what already makes each person unique, not change who they are.

For Kassy, one of the most rewarding parts of aesthetics is getting to know her patients and helping them feel confident in their own skin. She takes pride in creating personalized treatment plans and making sure every patient feels comfortable,heard and cared for throughout their experience. 

​

Outside of the practice, Kassy is married to her husband, Daniel and they are raising three young children, ages 4, 2 and 1. Life with three littles keeps her busy, but she wouldn't have it any other way!

When she has free time, Kassy loves all things fitness and staying active. She even spent time as a cycling instructor! Her favorite way to spend time, though, is traveling and exploring somewhere new with her family. She loves an adventure and truly believes that nowhere is off limits!
