There is no right or wrong way to dilute your neurotoxin, whether its the on label 2.5 mLs or 1 or 1.5 mL. The placement of the product and knowing anatomy are the most important.

I personally love a tighter dilution for both my Botox (1:1) and my Dysport (1:1.5) so that placement and spread are very precise and controlled and there is a lower chance of adverse events occurring.

2016 vs 2026

I struggled with melasma during each pregnancy (which you can see in the 2016 pic) and beyond. I also wasn't able to get Botox for several months between being pregnant and breastfeeding. Once I emerged from baby life, I put a concerted effort back into my skin.

Here's everything I have done from 2016 ---> 2026, no gatekeeping:

✨daily use of medical grade skincare: Vitamin C, retinol and mineral based SPF
✨lasers at least once a year (BBL, Moxi, Clear and Brilliant )
✨Botox/ Dysport every 3-4 months
✨series of 3 microneedling sessions and then quarterly maintenance (have added on exosomes and PDRN for a few)
✨tiny amount of filler to top lip and cheeks
✨ dermaplaning every 4-6 weeks
✨medical grade facials and chemical peels a few times a year
✨Invisalign
✨red light therapy
✨microbladed my eyebrows (a good set of eyebrows is life changing!)

i have been in healthcare for almost 18 years, which seems impossible when I'm only 26 years old 😜 but it's true, I graduated from St Louis University as an Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner in 2014 and have been a nurse since 2008. I have been married to my husband, Brady, for almost 13 years. We met on his first day of medical residency at St Louis University Hospital where I was working as a nurse- a very Grey's Anatomy love story. We moved from St Louis to Dubuque, Iowa (my hometown) in 2018 and it has been such a great place to raise our family.

We have three kids (ages 9, 8 and 5 years) and a dog named Lulu that I randomly adopted from the Humane Society when I was supposed to be there organizing. You might actually know me from my other life as a professional organizer @simplyorganizeddbq!

I LOVE what I do in the aesthetics and wellness field and am so passionate about helping people look and feel their best.

Random, unimportant facts about me:

✨Spicy Margs and Aviations are my drinks of choice
✨I don't like cheese on my pizza
✨hot coffee when it's cold and iced coffee when it's hot (my husband struggles to know when the changeover happens each time but I still love him!)

My parents encouraged me to be an orthodontist, so I started out college as a pre-dental major at St Louis University. Then I got a C- in chemistry that first semester and either had to retake it or change majors.
